Juvenile facing charges in July incident in Cummington

Cummington police arrested a 14-year-old juvenile male charging him in connection with an attack on a resident. He was arraigned in Franklin-Hampshire Juvenile Court on Friday, July 27 on charges of home invasion, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a shovel) on a person 60 years or older and armed assault to murder a person 60 years or older.

He is being held on bail.
