Welcome to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office website. Our goal is to provide you with information on the role of our office in the criminal justice system.

Our primary role is to prosecute criminal cases in Hampshire and Franklin counties and the town of Athol. In addition, I believe strongly in providing community education and outreach to the citizens of the Northwestern District.

You’ll find information on the different units in our office, as well as our many community education and outreach efforts, particularly in the areas of domestic violence, juvenile justice, consumer protection and abuse committed against children, elders and persons with disabilities.
